Artist's Description
This original acrylic painting features the Bow River in a valley just outside of the famous town of Banff, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. It is not unusual to see an abundance of wildlife in this area. I was fortunate to see a large male elk walking near the water's edge far below. Mount Rundle is the prominent peak that I have depicted in the painting.
